Emancipation of Women for Peace and Development's organization structure consists of four major components:
1.        BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The main function of the Board of Trustees is that of custodian of Emancipation of Women for Peace and Development property. It consists of two independent members chosen from civil and the third trustee being the Chairperson of the Board of Directors.

EWPD's current trustees are:

2.BOARD OF DIRECTORS

This is the main body which oversees Emancipation of Women for Peace and Development programmes. Members of the Board of Directors constitute the executive committee. There are ten members of the Board. These are selected by virtue of their expertise and experience which is considered relevant of Emancipation of Women for Peace and Development. The Chairperson is elected by the ten members of the board. Emancipation of Women for Peace and Development staff and groups are represented on the board by the Executive Director of Emancipation of Women for Peace and Development. The Board has the following positions:

3.STAFF/MANAGEMENT TEAM
Emancipation of Women for Peace and Development staff constitutethe chief organ for the implementation of policies and plans of theorganization.The staffs consist of the following:

·The Executive Director

·Programmes Staff

·Administration and Finance Staff

·Administrative Secretary


Emancipation of Women for Peace and Development exercise a participatory system of management whereby staff discuss and make decision together.

4.EWPD Rural Groups

This is the most important component in the Emancipation of Women for Peace and Development structure. It justifies the existence of the organization. The groups participate in decision making processes. They assess their own needs, identify projects, plan and implement them.
